Junior Viking Wrestling

Welcome to the Junior Viking Wrestling Page. Come here often to see the Junior Viking Wrestling team information. The Junior Vikings are organized for the purpose of fostering young athletes and providing a competitive, yet safe environment for athletic development in Folkstyle Wrestling. TheJunior Vikings provide wrestling training for children from the towns of Augusta, Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Defiance, Foristell, Harvester, Lake St. Louis, Matson, Marthasville, New Melle, O'Fallon, Saint Charles, Saint Peters, Schluersburg, Weldon Spring, Weldon Spring Heights, and Wentzville. The Junior Vikings provide wrestling training for wrestlers from the schools of Castlio Elementary School, Central Elementary Schools, Daniel Boone Elementary School, Francis Howell Middle School, Independence Elementary School, John Weldon Elementary School, and Mary Emily Bryant Middle School.

The Viking Wrestling Club is an open enrollment, non profit club that exists to get kids interested and involved in the sport of wrestling. We strive to promote good sportsmanship, work ethic, and commitment for anyone that is currently in the 1st ( or 6 years of age) through the 8th grade (must not turn 15 years old prior to January 1, 2010) who wish to learn the sport of wrestling.

Junior Viking Wrestling sign up will be on October 20, 2009 and October 27, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Francis Howell High School multi-purpose/wrestling room in the A Building. The first practice will be November 9, 2009. Please contact Coach Stroh for more information.
