Paul Collum enters his third year with the Missouri Baptist University Athletic Department, serving as Assistant Wrestling Coach.
Howell Wrestlers will have two chances to wrestle each week during the preseason

Howell Wrestling has hired Paul Collum to coach Howell wrestlers on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:30 till 8:30 PM at Wentzville Holt High School, starting 8/31 and going till the season starts.
Pauls Bio
Paul had a successful wrestling career himself, starting in high school. He was the Illinois High School Assocation State Champion in his weight class three times, a four-time freestyle and greco State Champion, a Cadet Freestyle National Champion, and placed fourth in the Cadet Freestyle World Championships in 1998
In College, Paul placed fourth at the University Freestyle Nationals in 2002 and fifth at the National Junior College Athletic Association Nationals that same year. He was an NJCAA National Champion in 2003. He was also an NAIA National Champion in 2005, wreslting for Missouri Valley College.
In addition to competing as a wrestler, Paul has coached wrestling since 1996. He has coached for various kids clubs, elite clubs, and served as an Assistant Coach at Missouri Valley College in 2005-2006, before coming to MBU. He also currently serves an Assistant Coach with the Spartan Wrestling Club.
