The Lindenwood University coaching staff will be hosting a FREE wrestling Clinic prior to their dual meet with Truman State. The wrestlers will be able to attend the clinic and dual meet for free. Parents will be charged for admissions. Coach Parisi has some great technicians that will be running the on site clinic (Jake Diefenbach 2xNAIA national Champ, Matt Cauley 2x NAIA National Champ, etc.) It will be a great experience for everyone in the wrestling community.

Coaches from around the USA bring their high school teams to the Takedown Machine Camp for one reason only....to learn a Takedown System and get better at wrestling. At the Takedown Machine Camp your son will be on the mat with just 45 +/- kids per week. This camp has filled 8 years in a row. Register early to ensure your spot.

The Francis Howell Wrestling Booster Club will meet immediately after the dual meet against Timberland on 2/10/2010. This is a change from the previously scheduled 2/4/2010 date, and a departure from our regular date. All wrestling parents are encouraged to attend. We will be discussing:

Financial Report from Judy
Little League Tournament (Lessons learned – Planning future events)

Reminder - the 2010 MISSOURI CHALLENGE Tournament is spread over 2 days! Blue (experienced) wrestlers wrestle on Saturday, 02/06 and Gold (first year) wrestlers wrestle on Sunday, 02/07. This tournament requires that all wrestlers weigh in. This is different than the Ozark tournament. Also, Saturday is a split session and Sunday is not. On Sunday all wrestling begins at 9am. All wrestlers must weigh in. The weigh in schedule is:

Friday February 5- From 6-8P.M. at Fort Zumwalt North High School.
All BLUE & GOLD wrestlers may weigh in at this time.

Saturday February 6- 6:-00 to 7:30A.M. Must be in line by 7:30A.M. to weigh in.
BLUE DIVISION BANTAMS, MIDGETS & NOVICE wrestlers may weigh in at this time!

Saturday February 6 – 10:00A.M. – 11:30A.M. Must be in line by 11:30A.M. to weigh in.
Schoolboy and Cadet BLUE DIVISION wrestlers may weigh in for the afternoon session.

Sunday February 7 – 6:00 – 7:30A.M. weighs ins for all wrestlers

The Junior Viking page has been updated with a link to the Francis Howell Junior Viking Match Results Form. Please follow the link to download and log your wrestler's results. We ask that you log your wrestler's results regularly and report/email them in to jrvikingresults@francishowellwrestling.com . We will log and post results periodically. Keeping results up to date helps in end of year tournament seedings and awards.

Updated - Congrats to former Francis Howell wrestling coach Roger Hodapp!

Congrats to former Francis Howell wrestling coach Roger Hodapp for being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. As a coach at Francis Howell, Roger led the Vikings to four state titles and three top four finishes in seven years. He has had a tremendous impact on many athletes life’s while at Francis Howell, including world champion Sam Henson. Roger was inducted to the Hall of Fame on Saturday September 26 at the Sunset Country Club in South St. Louis. See a slideshow here.
